Terms of use

Last updated August 2026

This is a portfolio site. It sells nothing, has no accounts, and asks nothing of you beyond reading it. These terms exist mostly to be clear about who owns what.

Who runs this site

sebilations.dev is a personal portfolio run by Sebastian Gabriel Patrascu, based in the Algarve, Portugal. Anything on this page can be raised with me at sebigabip@gmail.com.

Using the site

Read it, share it, link to it — no permission needed. What I'd ask you not to do:

  • Attack it, or try to break into anything behind it.
  • Use the contact form for spam, bulk mail or anything automated.
  • Scrape it in a way that hammers the server.
  • Pass my work off as yours (see below).

No account is needed, and I don't gate anything. If the site is down or broken, that's a bug, not a change of terms.

What's mine

Unless a page says otherwise, everything here — the writing, the blog posts, the code behind the site, the design, and the descriptions and screenshots of my projects — is mine and protected by copyright.

You're welcome to:

  • Quote a passage, with a link back.
  • Reference the work when you're talking about me, hiring me, or reviewing my work.
  • Learn from the techniques and use them in your own projects.

Please don't:

  • Republish a whole post or page as your own.
  • Present my project work as yours in a portfolio or application.
  • Feed the content into a product or dataset without asking.

Some projects shown here were built for clients, and those clients own their own trademarks, logos and material. Showing them here is a portfolio credit, not a licence for you to reuse them.

Want to use something? Just ask. I'm generally happy about it.

What's yours

Anything you send me through the contact form stays yours. I use it to reply to you and nothing else — the details are in the privacy policy.

Links out

The site links to client projects, GitHub repositories, social profiles and other people's writing. I don't control those, and a link isn't an endorsement of everything on the far side of it. Once you follow one, their terms and privacy policy apply, not mine.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. I keep it accurate and online because I care about it, not because I'm promising anything. Specifically, I don't guarantee that it'll always be available, that everything on it is current, or that a technique described in a blog post is right for your situation.

Nothing here is professional advice. If you're making a real decision on the back of something I wrote, check it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss arising from using this site — including anything indirect, and including relying on the content.

This doesn't limit anything that can't legally be limited: liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any right you have as a consumer under Portuguese or EU law.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and the version live when you visit is the one that applies.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer in the EU, this doesn't take away your right to rely on the law of the country you live in.

If any part of this turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.
